We are launching an initiative to highlight the research activities of our customers. This includes expanding our image gallery and showcasing the research publications. Send us your most beautiful images and see them side to side with the best from all over the world.
To kick off this initiative, we are organizing an image competition for the users of our AFMs. We would like to invite you and the members of your group to submit images to this competition.
The first prize will be a gift card worth CHF 500. Three second prize winners will each receive a gift card worth CHF 100 and the winners of six third prizes will receive gift cards worth CHF 50 each.
Depending on where you are looking to spend your gift card, we will be flexible about currency and online shop. Winners will be notified by email by June 30th.
Guidelines:
- Images must be collected using a Nanosurf AFM.
- Images must be submitted as .nid files.
- Images collected in any mode can be submitted.
- Images should include details of the sample and any other relevant information.
- An entrant can submit a maximum of 5 images.
- The competition will run from February 15th to April 30th.
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18. A panel of qualified judges determined by Nanosurf will select the thirty (30) submissions as the "finalists" from among all eligible submissions. The judges will determine the winners from these finalists. Separate Honorable Mention awards may be awarded at the discretion of the Judges.

Publicity: Submitting images to the competition constitutes express consent and grants to Nanosurf and its distributors, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully-paid, irrevocable, perpetual right and license to reproduce, modify, post, publish, edit, reformat, shorten, display and/or otherwise use Images, for promotional, trade, marketing and/or publicity purposes including but not limited to websites, social media pages, printed materials, traveling exhibits, in emails, and/or at trade shows and events, without any compensation, notification, permission or other consideration. Participant shall retain ownership of the copyright to the images.
