9th Scientific and Technical Days of the INRA Microscopists Network

The RMUI, INRA's microscopist network , was set up in 2008 to unite all the skills and know-how in the field of microscopy in the broad sense. Since its creation, the network organizes each year Scientific and Technical Days , privileged moment to exchange, to transmit the experiment and the knowledge around the methods of sample preparation, the techniques of microscopy and the methods of analysis associated.

The participants are researchers, engineers, technicians, permanent and non-permanent, interested in developing microscopy around the research themes of the different departments of INRA.

The 9 th session of the Scientific and Technical Days of the RMUI will be held from 27 to 29 November 2019 at Oniris site of the Chantrerie, in Nantes.

These days will be devoted to multimodal / multi-scale imaging for phenotyping animal and plant tissues and understanding the relationships between the structure and function of biological components . Sample preparation, multimodal imaging techniques and mathematical approaches to data processing will be discussed in the form of lectures, round tables and workshops. These days will be a place of exchange, openness and mutual enrichment that will allow us to understand the issues related to multimodal and multiparametric imaging techniques.for the most exhaustive exploration possible of the samples. Oral communications have been scheduled to provide participants with access to a representative panel of multimodal imaging approaches for scales ranging from the molecule to the entire organ . Participants are invited to present a poster to discuss their scientific and technical issues related to the theme of the day.
